•Elicit, analyze and validate requirements through various techniques (data analysis, process analysis, prototyping, use cases, business rules definition, etc.).
•Provide business analysis expertise to deliver critical requirements artefacts, work closely with the Human Resource business, operations and technology teams.
•Work with clients and development team to translate business requirements into functional requirements.
•Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum team where their role will be a key component in a mature Agile model and being the key bridge between the Product Owner and technology to ensure that requirements are clearly outlined, agreed and delivered.
•Effectively manage the development efforts across multiple applications in parallel – be able to multi task and effectively prioritize workload to ensure that technology teams are being productive.
•Be able to face off against senior business partners effectively and have the capability to bring in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking, problem definition, and development of innovative solutions
•Advise the development, testing and production support teams as needed, providing requirements knowledge and subject matter expertise to the teams performing these functions.
•Help define clear test cases, create test scripts with expected results to assist the testing teams and assist with SIT/QA testing as needed.
•Help create user guides in a structured and consistent manner to allow the easy adoption of the tools.
•Continuously improve subject matter expertise in the business areas being supported, sufficient to become a Trusted Advisor to the Business stakeholders.
•Minimum of 8 years direct business analyst experience with industry recognized techniques performing Business Process and Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering/ Documentation/ Validation and Change Control processes.
•Experience with Agile, specifically Scrum method, is required. Scrum Master experience preferred.
•Strong listening, problem solving, negotiation and facilitation skills required.
•Strong oral/written communication skills required.
•Must be a self-starter, a quick learner and a relationship builder.
•Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes.
•Prior knowledge/experience of corporate HR systems is a plus.
•Intermediate MS Excel skills preferred.
•Basic T-SQL experience preferred.
•Experience with various documentation and project management tools required (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Access, SharePoint) and ability to learn new tools quickly.
