Additional Job Details: PT Days, 48 Hours Bi-Weekly, (Monday, Thursday, Friday) with rotating weekends.

Evaluates and treats patients requiring speech-language therapy.
Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
Educates and counsels patient and family regarding treatment plans.
Maintains clinical records and follows performance improvement recommendations.
Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from speech therapy services. Provides information regarding appropriate support programs.
Acts as a clinical instructor to affiliating students.
Assesses patient condition, develops a plan of care, implements treatment for the established problems, and documents in a thorough manner.
Presents one literature review, case study, or in-service to the dept 1x annually.
Utilizes time effectively and meets productivity expectations.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association . (ASHA) Certification of Clinical Competence or completing a Clinical Fellowship year required.
Master's Level Degree
Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology requiredPrevious SLP experience preferred
